I often visit best buy in Evansville for my electronics. I shop at a brick and mortar store over online. Even if it's a few dollars more, I purchase my items for my business and can't be hassled with delays in shipping back items for repair when they go down. The local best buy has honored their return policies on more than one occasion with me. I will continue to shop there and the staff is always helpful.

I was doing it in a well lit warehouse that closed at 7, so I returned it after it all didn't fit when I had to leave at 7 instead of having it installed everything was still in pieces. Take it to my house after looking up what I actually needed exchanging it and bringing it home to hook up. When I got home it was dark I turned the light on my phone to see the cords and went to look at the connection and dropped my phone in the hole the deck goes to.

Took 20 minutes hooked all my wires together, ready to plug and play. Or so I thought.

Great place, with great staff and incredible selections!! Prices are from affordable to extreme so it's good for everyone

I visited this store to buy a phone,not window shop. When I finally searched down someone to help me,I told her which phone that I want so she could pull it while I grabbed some ink for my printer. I returned to get the phone to be informed that they didn't have any in stock an that was fine but great customer service would have been to inform me that there was another store less then a mole away and she would call to see if they had it... I stood in the store and made the call myself an was treated to better service over the phone than I had received there. They even had the phone in stock an greeted me upon my arrival to pick up the phone...

I hate to do this, and I wouldn't or never write reviews, but I have to share what just happened to me. I needed a wiring harness for my new car stereo I was installing. Instead of fighting the crowd at Wal-mart (who had it) I decided to stop in Best Buy. Had a kid meet me back there he looked up on the computer what I needed, purchased it I was on my way.

When he asked the make and year of my vehicle I clearly said O-four explorer. Say it every time I get it worked on, oil changed, look up items for it, I know the year the odds of me saying the wrong year would be the same of me miss pronouncing my first name. Which is why I was surprised to look at the packaging and see 99-03. That is my fault, it is my fault for not double checking a young person who is likely clueless. I should have been prepared and looked it up and bought it online like I do most things, got it amazon next day, no crowds, cheaper, don't have to chance trusting someone. However, the snowball effect on this was..this gets good.

All these things are my fault, I am willing to admit that. The lesson here is just buy it online. Don't risk going in and be sold the wrong thing and pay more money for less knowledge. Do your own research and get it on amazon. To the kid that sold me the wrong piece, go work at a clothing store where people have to try things on, it is fool proof.

The people in the electronics dept were very helpful. Unfortunately I feel like the lady at the door was being a bit judgemental. She was panning the camera to follow this lady around the store. I stopped before entering to observe this contemplate not shopping here. I looked down at what I was wearing(work clothes) and I was assuming this was going to be me when I walked in. It most likely was because it took 15 mins before I was assisted probably waiting on me to steal something smh.

Long story short, best buy is closed now, I still have the wrong piece, they have my adapter in a bag at the store. They don't open until 10AM I don't get off work until 5pm. So this all will take me a day and half longer to do over 20 minutes of just a kid grabbing the correct thing. Prime members get next day shipping. Could of had it sooner and not had to drive in there. I now have a pulled about car, sticky phone, and a broken running piece under my cup holders.

Phone drops to the very bottom of the console under my cup holders I then spend the next hour trying to get it out, had to rip out and snap break a foot section of plastic just to have a chance at getting it. Go to hook all the wires back up get everything ran and ready to plug and play! No, I stuck the adapter that goes into the back of my deck in the bag I exchanged for the right part instead of the wrong part I was sold..so it was haunting me..both pieces looked similar and an oversight on my part.

Out of all the time I wasted this evening in best buys efforts I might as well waste more and write a review.
