The staff and facilities at Solarbron are the best of the best. The care they show each resident is unlike anything I witnessed while in other facilities.
Took the tour, wow what a beautiful place to live! Everyone is so friendly and staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a retirement community.
This may have once been a 5 star facility, however that is no longer true. Do not let appearances fool you. This is not the place for your loved one. My mother is at this facility and we have dealt with one issue after another. I was told by a staff member that a new management company took over the facility and they were still working out the “kinks”. They do not have enough staff scheduled at any time. My mom has waited over an hour past her scheduled medication time and I had to point out that she was in the same clothing for three days to a staff member. I also have overheard multiple staff memebers complaining about management and overheard an argument between a member of the therapy team and nursing regarding getting my mom out of bed. The nursing staff member told the therapist that it wasn’t her job on the line, so she’d do it later.
We are actively seeking out a new facility for my mom. I would suggest staying away from this place until they can figure out their issues. Don’t let appearances sway your opinion of this place. We were excited when meeting with admissions staff. On the surface this place looks great, but there are too many issues to list....stay away!!
