Don't let the good reviews fool you. My wife still hasn't been showered, it's been a full week now. I had the sheriff there today and starting legal action. They may be good to some, but not to us. It's at your own risk.
The facility was clean and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Not only did we enjoy seeing the staff members, we loved seeing the pets that reside at Parkview. They certainly made my father feel at home.

Parkview is a great place to work. It is a faith based facility which is very comforting. Everyone works together to provide great care for residents. We are not the largest or newest building but we are a caring group of people who enjoy providing great care to our residents. Our pets are a positive addition to our homelike environment. I can't say enough good things about the care my father received from Parkview Care Center. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were treated like family. My father was given top notch care from all staff members. My sister and I were included in every aspect of his care as well.
I have had sever problems with the staff here, they don't shower my wife but when they want to, she was due for one Sunday and she didn't get it. I was just now there and she was filthy. Also, I bought her a new mobility electric chair for Christmas because she needs it, and they won't let her use it. I'm out thousands of dollars for nothing. There unlawfully keeping her immobile. I need a lawyer to bring them to justice.
My mother was a resident at Parkview for 3 years. She received excellent care from the therapy department and nursing staff. I was worried when she was first admitted on how she would adjust. The activity staff was excellent giving her lots of fun things to keep her busy. She enjoyed the outings from going to the fall festival and being in the parade, going out to eat at different restaurants, and even going fishing which she loved. Holidays were special some of which were the Mothers day tea, Easter egg hunt, Trick or Treat at Halloween, and Christmas was special all month. Activities usually included family being invited which I really enjoyed also. She became a part of the Parkview family making many friends with the staff and fellow patients. She enjoyed going into the beautiful courtyard and the pets. The staff always greeted her by name and made her feel special, even though she often couldn't remember theirs. The staff often went the extra mile even coming in to prepare for special events like the Thanksgiving dinner for residents and family. I am grateful for the care she received at Parkview and would recommend.
