Came in with a stress fracture as a result of training for a race. Dr. Alvey was very compassionate and caring when explaining that I was going to have to be in a boot, and thus, miss my race. He did a remarkable job easing my doubts about being able to get back in to the gym and running again, and helped explain a training method that worked for him after he suffered a similar injury. He is approachable, understanding and sympathetic, and I would recommend him highly to anyone seeking orthopeadic care.
