I am going to get another referral and find a different doctor. Why would anybody put up with this,read all the other reviews and you can clearly see this is not an isolated incident he is a mediocre surgeon in a little town.
Dr Troffkins is very rude ,arrogant and pompous! I don't understand why Evansville would tolerate a man like this. Lack of choices ? I have a back injury that has changed my life. I ask a simple question before I can finish asking he would answer what he thought my question would be. He told me I am a prime candidate for a back fusion but he will not do the surgery if I don't quit smoking,no explanation no understanding. I have to wait a month to get the CT scan. And my next appointment to be treated this way ? Maybe he's just having a bad day but after reading all the reviews on the web it looks like he talks down to everyone of his patients if that's how he is in his office I could just imagine how he is in the operating room Half-assed ,in a hurry and does not care about his patient. This is not for me!
