This place is awful I didn't like my doctor and quit going now a year later they are asking for money tried calling to talk to them about it and got nowhere. So I'm paying them their $ and other than hearing that it's been paid I don't want to hear from them again.
DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT CONSTANT HEADACHES AND IMPROPER HEALTHCARE!!!!
My mother was needing to be seen there by a therapist for depression after my father past away. After calling and putting in a request to be seen she did not receive a call back for almost 3 weeks so we called them back they had no record that she had ever called and gave them all of her personal information demographic, insurance, medications, reason for needing visit NOTHING. So we went through and gave it all to the lady again who was very rude and acted like she was to buys to even take the call. This time to be safe we asked her family doctor to send a referral over as well to make sure they got the information. after waiting another 2 weeks we get a call to be scheduled an appointment. We told them multiple times we wanted to make sure we had her see someone in her insurances network we go to the office the staff was rude and said we dont take this insurance so they end up taking it I guess the girl didnt know what she was doing because another lady looked at the insurance card and said they do take the insurance. They had my mother see a doctor and a therapist and after the appt with the doctor we had forgot to ask him a question about a depression med he was starting her on so we asked the front desk at check out to talk to a nurse and she went back and was talking to who I assume was the nurse and the nurse clearly says I am not coming up there and talking to them you can send me a message I am busy. The lady came back and lied and said she was on the phone and she would take our question in a message and the nurse would call us. I told my mother not to worry about it we didnt need to talk to that girl we would ask her family doctors office nurse and I asked to speak to the manager. She came out after I we waited for at least 20-30 minutes stating hi I am Shela I run this practice and was just as rude as the staff, she did say policy is policy and my staff is following our policies and she pretty much laughed in my face when I was trying to talk to her for my mother and said I dont even have to talk to you your not the patient and something about it being a hippa violation when my mother was clearly standing there telling me and giving me full permission to talk to the lady. I asked the office manager if there was someone above her I could speak with and she said no that she is the only manager there & that she runs the practice. I felt like my mother was treated very poorly my the staff/nurses/manager at this place and she will NOT EVER be going back. She literally cried in the care she was more of a mess after seeking treatment there than when we walked in the doors. The therapist we seen was very nice & polite my mother really liked her and she like the dr as well but because of the the staff and management we would not return. It is no wonder the staff acts like that with a manager like that lady. When I told this so called manager we would not be returning she said well that your choice to make, she didnt even try to make things right or keep my mother on as a patient or care that she needed the treatment no compassion whatsoever it was unbelievable. I would give zero stars if possible!
If I could give less stars, I would. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE! Literally go ANYWHERE else! They have sent my bill to collections multiple times because they did not properly charge my card when I was in, and then did not even notify my of the bill; the collection agency contacted me which is how I ever found out about the bill. I also keep a credit card on file so that my bill would always be paid, and still my credit has been negatively affected by bills that I had attempted to pay. I have also been told that I cannot see my doctor because I was 6 minutes late, even though I wait an hour to see him EVERY TIME! They told me if I was more than 5 minutes late then my apt would be forfeited, then when I arrived 4 minutes late, I proceeded to wait an entire hour to see my doctor. These people deal with people's mental health, and they do not care. It is obvious none of the front desk employees understand what is it like to deal with a mental health issue.
This place is awful! They didn't send a bill for a year then sent me to collection charging me 33% fee once I made a payment. So then I had to pay over $1000 so they wouldn't report on my credit. They told me I was paid in full and I'm still getting bills now that are almost 2 years old. Don't waste your time and money with these unprofessional people.
