Food was great no complaints there. Waitress turned our order in at 1206 pm at 1250 we got our food. People came in behind us and had their food before we did. Had a coupon that we couldn't get to work was going to speak to the manager but she was on the phone right beside the cash registers sounding like it was personal business . I had already been there an hour and half so we left.
Service was fantastic. I can't say enough nice things about our waitress. I believe her name is Davisha. She was on top of things. Food portions were perfect. Everything was done in a very timely manner. This place could use a little updating as the chair cushions were torn a bit but the food and service definitely out weighed that problem. We will definitely be back next time we are in Evansville.
Was seated and told by the waitress she'd be right back. 15 minutes later she still hadn't came back but just seated a group of 6 and started taking their drink orders. So we left!
Love their burgers. Although I didn't get to enjoy one tonight as it was their Christmas Party, they forgot to lock the doors, and I didn't read the note. So to say the least I crashed their Christmas Party and a very kind and beautiful employee offered me a peice of their chicken. To all of them I say thank you. The chicken was delicious. And I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hopefully the next time I'm down your way I can stop and get a burger.
As much as I love eating at Steak N Shake, I doubt I will ever go back to this location. I may dine in, but I will never use their drive thru service again. The speaker box was either busted out the lady didn't know how to use it properly. I asked her if I was to order a combo and didn't want the drink world it be cheaper. I had to repeat my question 4 times. She finally answered in an affirmative. I proceeded to get the Frisco melt combo and she asked me what I wanted to drink, really. I waited at the window for over 15 min. The lady behind me waiting ended up driving off. I got my food and my melt wasn't cut in half like they always do and I didn't get a single napkin. You're telling me that in 15 min they couldn't take 3 seconds of their time to place a few napkins in my bag. Good grief.
