Fetter properties is running some type of clown operation! Moved out years ago, did everything that was instructed to move before my lease was up because there had been a homicide right next to the duplex I was living in along with people shooting up others houses. Now one month of rent has been turned over to collections 4 years later! They stated I left no forwarding address but I did. If they did not read my letter my co-signer still has not moved 4 years later and she never received anything. This is a joke. You'll get your 500 dollars and you can shove it up your a*s! Maybe you can use it to take classes on how to manage your properties!
I am very pleased with the way the office manager Candace has been helping me. She is professional and knows her stuff! The rest of they staff members are very friendly and welcoming! I am excited to be leasing with fetter properties ! They are great!
Fetter Properties is acceptable. They have friendly staff, and their properties are manageable, cheap, and they swiftly fix any problems that arise when you contact them.
Overall, they're polite, and they work with you on payments if the need to split them up arises, so they get a pass in my admittedly higher than normal standards.
However, the fixes are typically sloppy, and require fixing later on.
So often people only give reviews when they have bad experiences and it makes companies look bad. Before renting from Fetters I read many but already knew that many of the experiences I read about were very different for me. I was warned by many about the reputation that they have. But, I have to say this week was a bit of a test, although not intentional. My refrigerator has been acting up and while I tried things I called it in on Monday. On Tuesday early afternoon the maintenance man was here. Tomorrow (Thursday) I will have a new refrigerator. I'm not having to "fight" for things as people have claimed and they have done as they have said as quickly as they possibly can. They have a lot of properties and not a lot of maintenance men, which granted the renters are not at fault for this but they need to prioritize the issues and some times people have to wait a bit when it's not something of peril importance. I am sure if they could not get it done for a few more days and I had to use a cooler with ice there are some that would be completely throwing a fit. I am not one of those people as long as I know they are doing what they can, when they can, which is the case here.
If you owned the house as opposed to renting you sometimes have to wait to get things and get them done. When it is within reason there's no reason to expect more from the owner of the home you're renting.
Very pleased with the location of the house and the price. Many red flags as soon as we moved in but we figured it came with the price. We slowly tried calling in work orders to fix problems but they never seen to get fully fixed. We are still living with the roaches that we saw when we first moved in 2 years ago. We finally negotiated a professional to come out now he will no longer return my calls. Too many things to list but if you have other means I would recommend leasing elsewhere.
