I have bought at least 20 Hummingbird Feeders from retailers of JC's Wildlife over several years. These feeders are perfect for hanging in trees or on shepherd hooks. Hummingbirds love them and return to our property every year. I boil my own sugar water (one part sugar/three parts water), even a little more sugar, when the hummers first arrive in April or get ready to leave again in the Fall (we live in Colorado). A raccoon family also loves the sugar water and manages to drink out of the feeders, sometimes taking the feeder and destroying the yellow flowers in their eagerness. Through Walmart customer service and JC's Wildlife customer service, I received 10 replacement flowers
This is my second purchase of this feeder and again I cut some small twigs and used mini zip ties to secure them to the small wire loop perches to make much better perches. Squirrel proof so far
