Staff are knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Hard to find places that employ people to actually work anymore, but these workers do and enjoy it. That is why I spend my hard earned dollar there and not somewhere else for a few dollars less. Items are one of a kind and worth every penny.
Was in the store for more then 30 minutes before we were even acknowledged by the staff. And it's not like they didn't know we were there. There is an obnoxiously loud bell on the door. . .
I expected a little more assistance when spending $300 plus on furniture. It was a cold and rainy day and we had to carry our chairs from the counter to our car with no assistance offered at all (at least let us load them in the back where its not so busy). Not a horrible experience, but they could work on their customer service skills for sure. It took an associate 20 plus minutes to show me chairs that were out of my reach as well. Overall, knowing I'm going to spend a lot of money at this store, I expect more in the customer service department which I know is important to this company and....I tend to get more from second hand consignment shops which I consider to be competition to Pier 1.

I love shopping in Pier 1 Imports. Recently I bought a C table on sale but when I got home, it was the wrong height. So, I took it back and they let me exchange it for another. The girls in the store were helpful and really fun to talk to. Everyone was friendly and in such a good mood I didn't want to leave!
