Clerk was VERY pushy - tried to get me to upgrade 3 times even though I repeatedly told him I was not interested. The car was great, but the gas tank was only 3/4 full.
If I were to make a critique it would be that they do not offer an emerald aisle so you are only able to get a one level upgrade. This is to be expected at a smaller airport, it just bums me out sometimes.
Not satisfied to say the least...
Original rental car was damaged (front under hood bracket) which I did not discover until later in the day. I called your folks at EVV and the were most accommodating and gracious. Great folks you have working for you in Evansville, Indiana!!!
I am a frequent renter from this location and I am normally the cars are always clean and the women at the rental counter are always friendly and efficient.
I don't know what kind of business they are trying to run. I am a Hertz Gold member and unfortunately had to rent elsewhere. Jamie added services to my account that I did not need and refused them when asked. I had a mid size car for two days. My estimate total when I left was approximately $90. Upon my return, the receipt showed $200. I am appalled at her lack of customer service as well as having to prove with a copy of my initial pick up estimate that I did NOT accept any additional products or services that were added on after the fact.Another agent had to remove them for me when I returned. I will never rent from National again. I'll take a taxi if they are the only option.
I recently rented a Toyota Camry from the National Car Rental in Evansville, IN. The car performed well mechanically, however; it smelled like someone had just smoked an entire pack of cigarettes in it before they gave it to me. Had to drive around in the awful smell for 3 days while it worked it's way into my business attire.
