This has been an amazing experience. I was nervous about my long distance move, but everyone has been so terrific. From the beginning of my process, I had all of my questions answered quickly, and emails were always answered promptly also. The movers and driver were incredible! They were so very respectful and courteous. They delivered my belongings when they stated they would, keeping me up to date all the way! Even the end of the process was great. Payment made easy with no problems at all. Thank you to all of you who had a hand in making my long distance move a success without worry!! Job well done to all of you!
I've never met this man before, yet he told me I was a pain because I hired another company that was actually in constant communication with me. I'm not about wasting time, and I've NEVER taken the time to write a negative review but I was floored with the way Tom Shetler handled this simple miscommunication issue. After the experience I had I looked at reviews and I'm very relieved I didn't even bother letting him in the door to give an estimate. Atlas needs to look into this franchise as it's an insult to their company to have men such as Tom Shetler conducting business!

When I finally got a response from Shetler moving about a quote, it was for the following day. I never replied to the email to confirm, nor did I get a phone call asking if I'd be available. When Tom Shetler did show up, I kindly informed him that I had already paid the deposit with another company because I hadn't heard anything back from his office in time. Now, being a manager myself, I would be apologetic and would be concerned about my staff handling requests in a timely manner and overall customer service experience. However, Mr. Shetler proceeded to tell me they "wouldn't have wanted to move me anyhow because I was a pain in the rear."
Despite the hot and humid weather (I start to sweat just thinking about it), and even with difficult stair carries, the crew was outstanding. I’ve never seen two fellows work as diligently and carefully . . . professional in every sense.
With a rather last minute out-of-state move coming up, I reached out to two local moving companies to get quotes as well as see if they had availability on my preferred move date. I first contacted Shetler moving and waited several days for a response, only to be told no one could come give me an estimate for a week or so. The communication was lacking throughout the whole process. Because I had less than two weeks to hire a moving company and get things moved, I decided to book with the other company who were VERY responsive with my requests. Since this relocation is for work, my employer is covering all expenses and price wasn't the deal breaker for me, customer service was! I wouldn't paid twice the price as long as I was valued as a customer!
