Nice grocery store. I like the produce here better than anywhere else. The parking lot is small.
The cashier was just very rude with me at the self check out. His approach with me was rude and disrespectful but not like that with the others that were having problems with the machines. While I was checking my items out I took the bags out to put in my cart and the employee ran up to me very rudely and told me that I needed to put them back and pay for them, like I wasn’t going to do so. When I asked him why he just kept repeating the same thing. in a rude manner with an angry look on his face.When other customers did it or when he was helping them I noticed he wasn’t rude nor was he speaking loudly and explained it to them. When I got home my spouse called and spoke with someone and she explained that all the machines are like that. When I asked the employee why he could’ve explained that because I didn’t know, instead of being rude with me. And all this in front of my children.
Love shopping at Schnucks! I can easily find what I need because the store is well organized.
I do know I will not return to that particular store again I will go elsewhere, where I am treated with much more respect.
Other than the rude employee I love the store and the freshness of the food but they need to teach their older employees to treat everyone the same no matter the color of their skin.
The cashier at self check was extremely rude and watched me and my 9 year old daughter like we had stole something....maybe because she was biracial???? But the store is nice management needs to staff otherwise great store
