Good school for learning to do hair. Students give haircuts that are cheap.
Fantastic place to go, especially for a men's cut. Went to the east side school for a haircut, and while it wasn't bad, I wasn't happy with it. The student was relatively new. I then went to the barber location, and received a wonderful cut, at no charge because I paid at the other location. Great service, great experience. They coffee at the east side is awesome. You should check that out too.
I haven't been here in a while but most of my visits were positive. The price is always good, but that's because the students are preforming the service (hence the "most" visits were positive).
TERRIBLE customer service. I scheduled an appointment. Showed up on time and the person supposed to do my hair didn't show, so someone else had to pick me up. I asked for a cut, my roots touched up, and some red lo-lights. 3.5 hours later, my hair looks exactly the same. No red to be seen. Roots still showing. It took them almost two hours just to do the foils and that was with two people working on them. One of the girls went to rinse some of my hair out from the earlier coloring she had done because it had "taken." She uses a spray bottle of "water" to start rinsing my hair. She mumbles something about it being a weird color. A guy comes over sprays and smells the bottle. It was windex!! She was spraying windex in my hair. After it's all said and done, no one apologizes or says anything and still charged me full price for essentially wasting my day. I called to complain and was told someone from the main office would call me and that they could fix my hair from me...4 days later, still waiting on that phone call. DO NOT GO HERE! I would've given them a zero score if I was allowed to do so.
I'm a current Barber student, and i think this is a great place to get your hours for your certification.
